During the rebranding of our Café Oma Selecta, we asked our Instagram followers to help us discover what the flavor of true companionship means to them, and this is what they told us:

“When I hear the phrase ‘the flavor of true companionship,’ I immediately think of mom. Just as a coffee plant sprouts, from our mother’s womb we start creating the best bond we will have in our entire life. With mom, we grow making memories that will always stay in our minds like the sweet taste of coffee. And when we talk about true companionship, the first word that comes to my mind is MOM, who gave me life, my name, my education, EVERYTHING, I owe everything to a woman who, like a coffee plant, spread her seeds to give to the world without any interest, this being that I am today.

“I feel that there is not just one flavor of companionship; on the contrary, there is an intensity of nuances that contrasts the flavor on the palate, just as it happens with coffee; sometimes bitter, sometimes chocolatey, sometimes sour or acidic, and other times deep and intense, accompanied by sugar, or panela from my land, but of my preference, with none… And just as there are infinite flavors of coffee, so are the flavors of companionship.
But, if it’s a matter of taste, I prefer it to taste, and to taste, to what it should taste like, to taste by its aroma, by its sight, and by its body, to taste deeply, to taste of memories and dreams, to taste of what I have never tasted, and drink daily, to be unique and ecstatic, to taste of FREEDOM!»
